Watching Them Watching Me
So, I am quite embarrassed to say this but this was my first time actually seeing a Lion in it's natural surrounding in a jungle without any restrictions, and this feeling cannot be actually put into words and saying that I was mesmerised would be an understatement. I was in a vehicle with other passengers & I was literally all over the place and so excited that I was nearly jumping on my seat on each turn.
As we reached the pride I was a bit of underwhelmed as it was a winter's noon and they were all lounging. Still, I began to take pictures and as I got bored and wanted some attention from them I kinda "ssshhhed" and just then this lioness in the colour picture looked into the lens and I fell in love with the wild all over again. I know that disturbing wild animals with noises is a bad practice and can be sometimes dangerous but what to do, amateur's wisdom. ;)
