Sacred In The Jungle
India is a beautiful country and it's people and diversity is not hidden from anyone. Being born in a Hindu family in India, I am highly attached to my religion and Hindu Mythological Events. Hinduism is the largest polytheist religion in the World and we believe that there are around 33 Million Gods & Goddesses governing this Universe and many species of birds, animals, reptiles and Insects are a ride to them or signify them and so is the Indian Peacock whose feather is worn by Lord Krishna in his head as an ornament and also in his sacred flute. Thus this beautiful creature is considered highly sacred in our country, although this picture below is of a female Peacock who don't have a train of feathers on their back.
