This shot was taken by me from the terrace of my home. We had a Sacred Fig growing over a Banyan tree in front of our house where this pair of Brahminy Starlings used to visit to find food.

These were also taken from my terrace and actually a little forest had grown into an abandoned rice mill where many birds used to visit and nest. Here you can see how the male's crest and cap had risen which happens whenever it feels threatened or alarmed and sometimes just as a courtship act to attract female Mynas.

This was taken by me just as the bird was about to take it's flight.
