Black Kite

The Black Kite scientifically known as Milvus migrans is the most abundant bird of Accipitridae family. They are an opportunistic hunter and most likely scavenge while gliding and soaring high in the sky.

A Convocation Of Scavengers
I was travelling to Mungeli from Raipur through the National Highway 130 which is infamous for being an accident prone zone and on the way I saw this aerie of Black Kites scavenging on the freshly hit cow. I had never seen a Kite from this close, so I took my camera out and began taking their pictures while carefully treading towards them. It was really thrilling capturing them from so close.
